SINGLE-USE MICROCATHETER

Single-use Microcatheter

Intended for delivery of diagnostic agents (such as contrast media), therapeutic agents (such as pharmaceutical preparations and embolic materials) and compatible devices into the vascular system, excluding neurovascular use.

Product features

01

More options

Four outer-diameter options—1.8 Fr, 2.1 Fr, 2.4 Fr and 2.7 Fr—are each available in 110 cm, 130 cm and 150 cm working lengths.

02

Safer

A tungsten-wire braided shaft delivers tensile strength and flex resistance for reliable advancement and withdrawal, with a large lumen designed to support flow and power-injection pressure.

03

More visible

High radiopacity supports clear DSA visualization and target positioning.

04

Smoother

A lubricious hydrophilic coating improves trackability and helps reduce the risk of vascular trauma.

Applications

Microcatheters are used across multiple clinical disciplines, including:

  • Cardiovascular intervention, including coronary disease, congenital heart disease, pulmonary hypertension, coronary angiography, endarterectomy, angioplasty and stent placement.
  • Oncologic intervention, including treatment of liver, renal and lung tumors; embolization of limb aneurysms, head-and-neck tumors and uterine fibroids; and prostatic hyperplasia or tumor embolization.

Performance features

Microcatheter shaft construction

Variable-stiffness shaft

A graded-stiffness design balances control and flexibility for distant targets and tortuous anatomy.

Hydrophilic coating

Improves intravascular lubrication and pushability to enhance trackability.

Tungsten-wire braided shaft

Improves compression resistance and support while maintaining distal torque response.
